“My favorite sushi restaurant”

I went there again last night and I've finally decided that they are my favorite sushi restaurant.  We signed up for their frequent diner's card and just received a $10 off coupon for our next meal there.  So they are clearly very appreciative of their loyal customers.

If you do go, try their Sunshine roll.  It's to die for.  The Bee Bim Bop is quite tasty and healthy too.  I must warn that the portion size for that dish is enormous though. Everything I've had from this place is amazing and the presentation is always beautiful. I have to mention their Mochi dessert again, because they have so many creative ways they top it and I have yet to see the same presentation.  Sometimes they present it with a touch of whipped cream or lightly drizzled with chocolate (sometimes in the various shapes, hearts or designs), then dusted with powdered sugar.

“More food less money”

I went in for take out, not having a menu on hand or the inter-web available at that very moment, so I decided to just go and order there.  I walked in and grabbed a to-go menu, it took me about 5 or so min to look over the menu and decide what I wanted. I also did not want to spend a lot of money on a meal, so I went with California rolls, a side of miso soup, and a side or fried rice.

The total came out to 12 bucks and the portions were not small. Well, the miso soup could have had more in it, but there was plenty of fried rice and the California roll was decently sized. The crab meat in the California roll was like most of the crab in the Seattle area, AWESOME!  The fried rice though was addicting, some portabellas, carrots, cucumbers, onions, scallions, and other various veggies in the mix, henomenal though. The miso soup I though was nothing to write home about but was not bad by any means.

I would definitely go back and explore some more of their menu because the food was quality and the sushi was some of the best I have had in a while, just a good ole' California roll mind you.

“Yummy food”

This place is so yummy. My friends and I love the firecracker and sunshine rolls and the seaweed salad. The fish is fresh every time. Even when it's busy, the food comes out with the same great quality. I stick to sushi so I don’t know how their other items are but I'm sure they're yummy too. The waiter and owner are super friendly.

“Friendly and attentive staff”

I met someone here for a business lunch interview and it was definitely a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was moderately priced and tasty, and the ambiance was nice. I like that they don't just have Japanese food and sushi, but they also have other Asian specialties like be-bim-bap. My be-bim-bap was so good, and only $8! If I lived on the east-side, I'd definitely come here often.

“I never leave disappointed”

I love this restaurant. My husband and I go there at least once a month, more often if we can. Which is a lot considering it's a good 30 minutes from where we live.
The sushi is fresh and yummy. They have creative chefs making the rolls and I enjoy getting their feedback on what to eat.
We've also had the teriyaki, gyoza, and a few other dishes. Everything I've had here has been excellent. Seriously, I never leave disappointed. Well worth our drive every time.

“Great place to take a date”

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is very clean and modern.  However, you still feel like you are visiting Japan with the Japanese owners, attire and the sushi bar where the chefs make the rolls and nigiri.  The good taste and price makes a great value.  The tea is excellent and I love the Bento Box; fantastic tempura.  This is a great place to take a date!

“Very happy with our meals”

This is a welcome new addition to Mercer Island -- nice, moderate-priced Japanese restaurant and sushi bar.  All the standard sushi bar items, a big selection of specialty sushi rolls, and reasonably priced Bento box combination meals.  We've tried both the take out and dining it, and were very happy with our meals.
